NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the Groton City Council will hold a public hearing
on Monday, February 4, 2008, at 7:15pm, central time, at City Hall, 209 N Main
St, Groton, SD for the purpose of considering a Curb and Gutter Resolution of
Necessity for ten (10) blocks located at a) on the west side of North Fourth
Street between East Fifth Avenue and East Sixth Avenue and between East Seventh
Avenue and East Ninth Avenue; b) on the east side of North Fourth Street between
East Fifth Avenue and East Seventh Avenue and between East Eighth Avenue and
East Ninth Avenue; c) on both sides of East Fifth Avenue between North Third
Street and North Fourth Street; d) on the north side of East Seventh Avenue
between North Third Street and North Fourth Street; e) on the both sides of East
Eighth Avenue between North Third Street and North Fourth Street; f) on both
sides of East Ninth Avenue between North Third Street and North Fourth Street;
g) on the north side of East Eighth Avenue between North Fourth Street and North
Fifth Street.
Any person, persons, or representatives of the property owners who will be
liable to be assessed for the improvements may appear at said scheduled public
hearing and present information for or against adoption of this resolution.
Auxiliary aids and reasonable accommodations shall be made upon request to
insure that the meeting is accessible to all individuals by calling City Hall at
397-8422 at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting.
