Butler Town Board
January 7th 2008
Regular meeting
President James Marko brought the meeting to order at 7:00pm at the Kimberly
Huwe residence.
All members present, Galen Sichmeller and Kimberly Huwe. Others present at the
meeting was Duane Huwe.
Sichmeller made a motion to read and approve the minutes of the December 3rd
2007 meeting. Huwe second the motion. Motion carried.
Huwe made a motion to submit and pay bills at this time. Sichmeller second the
motion. Motion carried.
South Dakota Municipal League-2008 dues- 33.91, B&G Sanitation-garbage- 180.00,
Northwestern Energy-electricity- 86.59, Groton Independent-publishing-16.41.
The Town Board filled out and sent in survey on raising the price on alcoholic
beverages and a survey on fiscal conditions of the town to the South Dakota
Municipal League.
Salaries for all officers of the Town Board of Butler 2007, James Marko 430.00,
Kimberly Huwe 350.00, Galen Sichmeller 390.00, and Georgia Sichmeller 750.00.
A motion was made by Huwe and second by Sichmeller to adjourn the meeting at
8:30pm.Motion carried.
The next meeting will be held at the James Marko residence at 7:00pm on February
4th 2008.
