JANUARY 7, 2008 - JOINT CITY/COUNTY MEETING
The Brown County Commission and the Aberdeen City Council met in joint session
at 5:30 P.M. in the City Commission Chambers, 123 S Lincoln Street, Aberdeen,
South Dakota. Present from City were Council Members Agnitsch, Aman, Bunsness,
Campbell, Hodgin, Kraft, Mitchell, Rux and Mayor Levsen. Present from County
were Commissioners Hansen, Fischbach and Wiese. Absent Commissioners Knecht and
Feickert.
ORDINANCE NO. 07-12-01/358:
On motion by Mitchell and seconded by Hodgin, the City unanimously voted to
approve First Reading of Ordinance No. 07-12-01/358.
Moved by Fischbach, seconded by Hansen to approve First Reading of Ordinance No.
07-12-01/358, An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the following
described property from its present zoning designation of Section 701 (A-1)
Agricultural District to Section 714 (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural District: Lot 14,
Evelo’s Outlots in the NE ¼ of Sec 2-T122N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County,
SD. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.
SET HEARING DATE:
On motion by Campbell and seconded by Agnitsch, the City unanimously voted to
set public hearing for Ordinance No. 08-01-02/359 (Goldade Rezone) and Ordinance
No. 08-01-04/360 (Amend Ordinance No. 1411 - Part E of Section 5).
Moved by Hansen, seconded by Fischbach to set public hearing for Ordinance No.
08-01-02/359, An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the following
described property from its present zoning designation of Section 701 (A-1)
Agricultural District to Section 714 (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural District: Goldade
Tract 1 in the NE ¼ of Sec 35-T123N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, SD,
except Foot Creek and set public hearing for Ordinance No. 08-01-04/360, An
Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 1164 – Part E of Section 5, to be held on
January 28, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 123 S Lincoln
Street, Aberdeen, SD. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT:
Moved by Fischbach, seconded by Hansen to adjourn the Brown County Commission.
