NOTICE OF HEARING OF THE
THE BROWN COUNTY COMMISSION
REGARDING AN AMENDMENT TO SECOND REVISION
BROWN COUNTY ORDINANCE, TITLE 4
A public hearing will be held by the Brown County Commission on the 29th day of
January 2008 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Commission Chambers, Courthouse
Annex, to consider an ordinance amending Second Revision Brown County
Ordinances, Title 4, specifically Chapter 4.01 Definitions and Chapter 4.19
Floodplain District (FP) regarding the new flood insurance rate map and flood
Insurance study that will become effective on March 18, 2008.
The public is invited to attend the hearing and to present comments and
testimony regarding the amendment to bring Title 4 into compliance with the
National Flood Insurance Program and Regulations. At the conclusion of the
hearing, the Brown County Commission may adopt first reading of Brown County
Ordinance No. 050.
