ABOUT OUR WATER
The City of Groton receives it water via pipeline from the WEB Water Facility located 100 miles west of Groton near Selby, S.D. WEB Water serves a 5,400 square mile area from Mobridge to Webster and Frederick to Doland, S.D., as well as customers in Emmons and Dickey County, N.D. The source of water is the Missouri River and the plant treats 7.7 million gallons of water daily.

The city has a 450,000-gallon reservoir in addition to the 80,000-gallon water tower. The average daily use is about 125,000 gallons.

Minimum Charge: $19/month for 3,000 gallons
3,001 to 15,000 gallons:: $2.50/1,000 gallons
Over 15,000 gallons:: $2/1,000 Gallons
