Town of Westport General Meeting
September 8th, 2009
The Town of Westport met on September 8th, 2009 with Mark Van Dover, Todd Hertel, Larry Huettl, and Steven Mitzel present.
The following expenses were presented:

Larry Huettl made motion to pay all bills; second by Todd Hertel.
Decision made to contract for 350 gallons of propane with Brick Propane.
Motion by Larry Huettl, 2nd by Mark Van Dover to approve 2010 Budget. Motion carried. Steve will submit the budget to the Brown County Auditor and to the Groton paper.
Steve & Mark continue to work with FEMA in an attempt to receive funding relief for the City due to the 2009 flood. FEMA should be done with the initial paperwork over the next two weeks.
The City Council will meet on Saturday, Sept 19th, 8:00AM, at the City Hall to prepare documentation to be presented at the October Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) meeting being held in Aberdeen. Documentation will include items regarding flood mitigation projects that will help to protect the City of Westport in the event of flooding.
