Hecla City Council Proceedings

Special session of the Hecla City Council met April 28, 2009—6:30 a.m. at the Hecla City Office. Present were members Arlin Elsen, Cathy Jones, Jay Osterloh, Harry Sukut, Hal Treeby and Caryl Wilmsen. Mayor Trautmann presided.

Purpose of the meeting was to consider purchase of a dishwasher for the Gym Café and discuss donating surplussed ball field fence to Britton City.

Approve Expenses
Sukut made the motion, seconded by Jones to purchase a dishwasher sanitizer from GFG for the cost of $2995.00 and to surplus the old dishwasher as scrap. The cost of the sanitizer does not include installation. All voted aye. Motion carried.
West Ball Field Fence
Motion by Treeby, seconded by Wilmsen to donate some of the west ball field fence to the City of Britton for their ball field contingent upon permission from SD Game Fish and Parks. All present voted aye. Motion carried.

There being no further business before the Council, Mayor Trautmann declared the meeting adjourned at 6:47 a.m.
