NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION MUNICIPALITY OF HECLA
Notice is hereby given that no Municipal Election will be held on April 8, 2008,
in Hecla, South Dakota.
The election for which public notice was given has been cancelled because
no certificates of nomination were filed for the following positions to be
filled:
Ward I - 1 year term - Alderman
Ward II - 1 year term - Alderman
Ward II – 2 year term - Alderman
Ward III – 1 year term - Alderman
Ward III – 2 year term - Alderman
Because each of the candidates is unopposed, certificates of election will be
issued in the same manner as to successful candidates after election.
