NOTICE OF CITY BOND ELECTION
CITY OF GROTON, SOUTH DAKOTA

A City Bond Election will be held on September 1, 2009 in all the voting precincts in City of Groton, South Dakota. If the polls cannot be opened because of bad weather, the election may be postponed one week.

The election polls will be open from seven o'clock a.m. to seven o'clock p.m. central time on the day of the election.

At the election, the following questions will be voted upon:

SHALL CITY OF GROTON, SOUTH DAKOTA, ISSUE ITS NEGOTIABLE UTILITY REVENUE BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT EXCEEDING $420,000, PAYABLE SOLELY FROM THE REVENUES OF THE UTILITY AND CONSTITUTING CONSTITUTIONAL DEBT UNDER ARTICLE XIII SECTION 4, BEARING INTEREST AT SUCH RATES AS MAY BE DETERMINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL, PAYABLE AND MATURING FROM 1 AND NOT TO EXCEED 40 YEARS AFTER THE DATE OF ISSUANCE, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REPAIRING & REPLACING SANITARY SEWER MAINS AND A LIFT STATION.

The polling place in each precinct of this County is as follows: Groton Community Center. 109 N 3rd St, Groton, SD
