NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A public hearing will be held at 7:15 pm on May 4, 2009, at the City of Groton office. The City of Groton is proposing to replace water meters and install a new meter reading system. The City of Groton is filing application with the South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan. The City of Groton will be requesting up to $300,000 from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan; the loan will be for a term of 20 years at a rate of 3%

Public comments will be taken on this project. Written comments pertaining to the project or funding may be submitted to Anita Lowary, Groton Finance Officer, PO Box 587, Groton, SD 57445 by 5:00pm, May 4, 2009.
