NOTICE OF VARIANCE HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT The Groton Planning & Zoning Commission will be holding a public hearing on Auguest 24, 2009 at 8:00pm CDT at City Hall, 209 N Main, Groton, SD for a variance of Title 9, Section 9.0106 of the Groton Zoning Ordinance.  This application was made by Kevin Nehls for 205 E 3rd Ave., Groton, SD (legally described as Original Plat, Block 9, Lot 13 & S ´ of Lot 14) for the placement of a house and garage within 10 ft of the south (front) lot line and within 5 ft of the east (side) lot line.  A variance is required for the reduction in required minimum yard requirements in a Residential 1 (R1) District.
Any person wishing to present testimony for or against this variance may appear in person or by representative at the above time and place.
