NOTICE OF VARIANCE HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT The Groton Planning & Zoning Commission will be
holding a public hearing on May 28, 2009 at 8:00pm CDT at City Hall, 209 N Main,
Groton, SD for a variance of Title 9, Section 9.0106 of the Groton Zoning
Ordinance. This application was made by John Howard, 228 E 3rd Ave, Groton, SD,
for the reduction in front yard from 30 feet to 0 feet for the construction of a
handicap ramp on property legally described as Original Plat, Block 7, E30' Lots
16-18. A variance is required for the reduction in required minimum front yard
size in a Residential (R1) District.
Any person wishing to present testimony for or against this variance may appear
in person or by representative at the above time and place.
