NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT The Groton City Council of the City of Groton, South Dakota, will open bids surplus digger truck on April 6, 2009 at 7:15pm (local time) at City Hall, 209 N Main, Groton, SD. Received sealed bids will be opened and read aloud.

Bids will taken on a 1982 GMC ALTEC Digger truck with removable bucket and 18 inch bore.
366 cu in gas engine, 5 speed w/2 speed transmission, 150,000 miles, 74,611 hours, hydraulic hose reel, rope on winch, 1 strobe light, 2 spot lights

Questions or requests for further information should be directed to the City Electric Dept, PO Box 587, Groton, SD 57445. Minimum bid $900.00.

The City reserves the right to refuse any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding and to award the contract in the best interests of the City of Groton, SD.
