INVITATION TO BID
The Town Board of Frederick will receive sealed bids for asphalt street repair
until 5:00 p.m. May 28, 2009. Sealed bids may be sent to the Finance Office,
Town of Frederick, Box 546, Frederick, SD 57441 or hand delivered to the Finance
Office at 307 2nd Ave., Frederick, SD. Bid specifications may be obtained at the
Finance Office.
Sealed bids will be opened at the June 1 Board meeting held at the Community
Center at 7:00 p.m.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the
Town of Frederick in an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. A bid bond in an
amount equal to 10% of the total bid will be accepted in lieu of a certified
check or bank draft. Surety for bid bond must be authorized to do business in
the State of South Dakota.
Bidders agree to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to
complete the work as shown in the specifications.
Bids may be held by the Town Board of Frederick for a period of not more than 30
days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids,
investigating the qualifications of the bidders and completing financial
arrangemnts prior to awarding the work. The Owner reserves the right to reject
any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
