The Board of Trustees for the Town of Claremont met in regular session on
8-12-09 at 7:30 p.m-City Hall. President Thompson called the meeting to
order trustees Hinrichs and Johnson present. Also present was Darwin Ives.
The minutes of the July meeting were read and on a motion by Hinrichs and
seconded by Johnson were approved as read. On a motion by Johnson and
seconded by Hinrichs the following warrants were allowed: General: Marshall
Co. Equip., mower parts, 56.18; Darwin Ives, 85hrs, 630.00; Br.Co.Treasurer,
mosquito spraying, 485.00; Groton Independent, publishing, 17.07;
Northwestern Energy, lights, 262.38; Holland Auto Care, parts,
full,90.87;First State Bank, mower payment, 523.76; Barneys Hoe,
Excavation, 1243.62; Charla Rye, wage, 290.00; WSSW: BDM, water used,
551.45; Rural Development, loan payment, 576.00; Carrie Pulfrey, meter
reading, 92.35; Northern western Energy, water, sewer, 339.85; Dept. of
Revenue, water samples, 24.00; The Town has received a grant from Fema for
street repair in the amount of $2953.00. It will be used to gravel streets
in town.
Thompson will purchase cones to mark potholes etc on streets. With no
further business before the board a motion to adjourn was made by Johnson
and seconded by Hinrichs. Motion carried.
