3-11-08 Town of Claremont
Board of Trustees met on 3-11-08 at 7pm. City Hall President Thompson called the meeting to order with Trustees Henrichs and Johnson present. Others present Darwin Ives.
Minutes of the February meeting were read and on a motion by Henrichs seconded by Johnson motion carried.
On a motion by Johnson and seconded by Henrichs the following warrants were allowed:
Claremont Firetruck Assoc., annual dues, 2800.00; Northwestern Energy, lights, 262.98; James Valley, phone service, 56.94; Charla Rye, wage, 290.00; Darwin Ives, 12 hrs, 90.00; Northwestern Energy, water and sewer, 553.45; Dept of Revenue Sampling water) 12.00; BDM, water used, 664.90; Lenlings, labor (water meters) 140.81; Carrie Pulfrey Meter reading, 92.35; SD Dept of Environment and Natural Resources, annual wasterwater fee $150.00; SD Dept of Environment and Natural Resources, consolidated water facilities, 1272.79;EJ Stohr Ins. Agency, insurance 1763.49; Rural Development, loan pay, 576.00;The new weather alert/fire siren pole will be installed by the summer 2008.
Board of Equalization will be held the week of March 17 thru 21 at City Hall from 7-8 pm residents that cannot meet at that time please contact on of the Trustees or the finance officer.
As there was only one petition field for the trustee position 3yrs term, no election will be held in the Town of Claremont.
With no further business before the Board a motion was made by Hinrichs to adjourn seconded by Johnson. Motion carried
