President James Marko brought the meeting to order at the Marko residence at 7:00p.m. All members were present. Galen Sichmeller and Kimberly Huwe. A motion was made by Sichmeller and seconded by Huwe to read and approve the minutes of the July 6th 2009 meeting. Motion carried. The minutes were approved as read. A motion was made by Sichmeller and second by Huwe to pay bills at this time. Motion carried. Groton Independent for publishing, 12.72. Northwestern Energy for electricity. 80.91. Dependable Sanitation inc. for garbage. 175.00. Diana Marko for park mowing,100.00. The Town received two bids from local contractors for graveling of streets in town. After some discussion. a motion was made by Huwe and second by Sichmeller to hire Skeide Graveling, who submitted to lowest bid and that project should be completed by late fall of 2009. Motion carried. The Butler Town board will notify Skeide.A motion was made by Huwe and second by Sichmeller to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.The meeting adjourned at 8:00p.m. The next meeting will be held September 8th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Galen Sichmeller residence.
