SEPTEMBER 1, 2009 - JOINT CITY/COUNTY MEETING
The Brown County Commission and the Aberdeen City Council met in joint
session at 8:45 A.M. in the County Commission Chambers, 25 Market Street,
Aberdeen, South Dakota. Present from City were Council Members Bunsness,
Campbell, Hodgin, Mitchell and Mayor Levsen. Present from County were
Commissioners Hansen, Elliott, Sutton, Wiese and Fischbach.
ORDINANCE NO. 09-08-01/376:
On motion by Bunsness and seconded by Mitchell, the City unanimously voted
to approve First Reading of Ordinance No. 09-08-01/376.
Moved by Wiese, seconded by Sutton to approve First Reading of Ordinance No.
09-08-01/376, An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the
following described property from its present zoning designation of Section
701 (A-1) Agricultural District to Section 714 (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural
District: Lot 13, Block 1, Richmond Heights Subdivision in the E ½ of Sec
32-T124N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, SD. All members present voting
aye. Motion carried.
SET HEARING DATE:
On motion by Campbell and seconded by Hodgin the City unanimously voted to
set public hearing for Ordinance No. 09-09-01/377 (Brenner/Crady Rezone) and
Ordinance No. 09-09-02/378 (Moen Rezone).
Moved by Sutton, seconded by Elliott to set public hearing for Ordinance No.
09-09-01/377, An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the
following described property from its present zoning designation of Section
701 (A-1) Agricultural District to Section 714 (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural
District: Lot 1, Brenner Addition in the SW ¼ of Sec 16-T123N-R64W of the
5th P.M., Brown County, SD and set public hearing for Ordinance No.
09-09-02/378, An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the
following described property from its present zoning designation of Section
701 (A-1) Agricultural District to Section 714 (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural
District: Moen-Rudolph Subdivision in Lot 1, Evelo’s Outlots in the SE ¼ of
Sec 35-T123N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, SD, to be held on September
29, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. in the County Commission Chambers, 25 Market Street,
Aberdeen, SD. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT:
The City Council adjourned and the County Commission continued in regular
session.
