NOVEMBER 3, 2009 - JOINT CITY/COUNTY MEETING

The Brown County Commission and the Aberdeen City Council met in joint session at 8:45 A.M. in the County Commission Chambers, 25 Market Street, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Present from City were Council Members Agnitsch, Bunsness, Campbell, Mitchell and Mayor Levsen. Absent Council Members Hodgin, Kraft, Rux and Slaight-Hansen. Present from County were Commissioners Hansen, Elliott, Sutton, Wiese and Fischbach.

ORDINANCE NO. 09-10-02/379:

On motion by Mitchell and seconded by Campbell, the City unanimously voted to approve Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 09-10-02/379.

Moved by Sutton, seconded by Hansen to approve Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance No. 09-10-02/379, An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the following described property from its present zoning designation of Section 714 (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural District and Section 704 (R-2) Medium Density Residential District to Section 704 (R-2) Medium Density Residential District: Lot 1, Bud Smith First Addition in the SE ¼ of Sec 20-T123N-R63W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, SD. Roll call vote: Commissioners Hansen-aye, Elliott-aye, Sutton-aye, Wiese-aye, Fischbach-aye. Ordinance adopted.

SET HEARING DATE:

On motion by Mitchell and seconded by Agnitsch the City unanimously voted to set hearing date for Ordinance No. 09-11-03/381 (Huettl Rezone).

Moved by Wiese, seconded by Sutton to set public hearing for Ordinance No. 09-11-03/381, An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the following described property from its present zoning designation of Section 701 (A-1) Agricultural District to Section 714 (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural District: Lot 1, Except the N 105’ thereof, Block 1, Moulton’s First Subdivision in the SE ¼ of Sec 2-T122N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, SD, to be held on November 24, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. in the County Commission Chambers, 25 Market Street, Aberdeen, SD. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.
