NOVEMBER 24, 2009 - JOINT CITY/COUNTY MEETING

The Brown County Commission and the Aberdeen City Council met in joint session at 8:45 A.M. in the County Commission Chambers, 25 Market Street, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Present from City were Council Members Bunsness, Campbell, Hodgin, Mitchell and Mayor Levsen. Absent Council Members Agnitsch, Kraft , Rux and Slaight-Hansen Present from County were Commissioners Elliott, Sutton, Wiese and Fischbach. Absent Commissioner Hansen

ORDINANCE NO. 09-11-03/381:

On motion by Bunsness and seconded by Mitchell, the City unanimously voted to approve First Reading of Ordinance No. 09-11-03/381.

Moved by Sutton, seconded by Elliott to approve First Reading of Ordinance No. 09-11-03/381, An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the following described property from its present zoning designation of Section 701 (A-1) Agricultural District to Section 714 (M-AG) Mini Agricultural District: Lot 1, except the N 105’ thereof, Block 1, Moulton’s First Subdivision in the SE ¼ of Sec 2-T122N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, SD. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.

SET HEARING DATE:

On motion by Hodgin and seconded by Bunsness the City unanimously voted to set hearing date on the petition to vacate public right-of-way (Resolution No. 09-12-01R/380).

Moved by Wiese, seconded by Sutton to set public hearing on the petition to vacate the public right-of-way filed by Douglas R Smith, David C Manning and Geraldine Stubbe, for the vacation of the public right-of-way described as follows: 50’ of Public Right-of-Way extending 297’ East of 385th Avenue between Chandler’s Outlots 22 and 23 North of 131st Street located in the SW ¼ of Sec 3-T123N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, SD, to be held on December 15, 2009 at 8:45 a.m. in the County Commission Chambers, 25 Market Street, Aberdeen, SD. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.
