APRIL 28, 2009 – BROWN COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION

Meeting called to order by Chairman Fischbach at 9:45 A.M. in the Commissioner’s Chambers, Courthouse Annex, Brown County, SD. Present were Commissioners Elliott, Sutton and Wiese. Mary Worlie and Gene Loeschke, Director of Equalization Office were also in attendance.

MINUTES:
Moved by Wiese, seconded by Elliott to approve the Brown County Board of Equalization Meeting minutes of April 21, 2009. All members present voting aye. Motion carried.

TAX EXEMPT PROPERTY:
Moved by Sutton, seconded by Wiese to approve 100% Tax Exempt Status for the following, with the understanding that if Tax Exempt Status is reversed by Attorney General and/or City Attorney Opinion an omitted assessment will be filed on said properties: Aberdeen City #32: Housing & Redevelopment Commission-Block 4 Mel Ros Southview Addn; Lawson View Addn (N 300’ of S 600’ OL 4A Ganje Addn of Mel Ros Estates). All members present voting aye. Motion carried.
