Groton Elementary School Site Coordinator Needed

• Groton Elementary School is taking applications for the following position for the 2004 - 2005 school year.
• Site Coordinator - After School Program. This person will plan, prepare and implement activities for the after school program. 4 hours per day includes planning time and student contact time. Send letter of application to Susan Foster at Groton Elementary PO Box 410 Groton SD 57445.
• Closing date is July 2.

Groton Red 12&U win three games

• Groton Red Midgets took part in a tournament his past weekend and posted three wins in the 12 and under age group. Groton scored four runs in the seventh inning to come from behind to beat Wessington Springs, 7-4. Gabriel Kjellsen had two singles, Matt Hinman and Jamie Jorgensen each had a double and Tom Sternhagen added a single. Corey Hassel, Dylan Hanson and Gabriel Kjellsen all pitched for Groton.
• Groton then defeated Parkston, 9-7. Dylan Hanson and Gabriel Kjellsen each had a double and a single. Corey Hassel had a triple and Matt Hinman and Jamie Jorgensen each added a single. Gavin Voss and Jamie Jorgensen pitched for Groton with Kjellsen doing the catching.
• Groton then defeated Parkston again, 13-3, in four innings. Dylan Hanson, Gabriel Kjellsen and Tom Sternhagen each had two singles while Corey Hassel and Jamie Jorgensen each added a single. Hassel and Hanson pitched for Groton with Kjellsen doing the catching.
